Texarkana Area Razorback Club Meets Tonight

The Texarkana Area Razorback Club's Annual Meeting is happening this Wednesday evening at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center beginning at 6:30 pm. The event was delayed 1 day by yesterdays Heightened Severe Weather Threat which kept new University of Arkansas Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson's  plane grounded in Fayetteville.

The play-by-play radio voice of the Razorbacks Chuck Barrett will join Anderson,  as will former Arkansas High and University of Arkansas softball star Dayna Huckabee. There will be an auction of Razorback memorabilia and other items including a 14x20 framed portrait of Razorback Football Coach Bobby Petrino and former Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett together on the sidelines. The portrait is autographed by both the coach and player.

There will be a barbecue supper and other fun as well. Tickets are available in advance today until 5pm at Mil-Way Federal Credit Union locations on Arkansas Boulevard, West 7th Street, and in Ashdown. Tickets wil also be available at the door tonight (Tuesday).
