Texarkana Fall Festival Guarantees Fun for All Ages Oct. 29
Spread the word about Texarkana's Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 in historic Downtown Texarkana from 11AM - 8PM in Front Street Plaza.
There will plenty things to see and do from shopping, great food, dancing, live music, ghost haunt, costume contest and a trunk or treat from 1PM - 3PM. And one of the highlights of the fall festival is the Thriller Flash Mob at 7PM. This is a re-enactment of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. You can join the mob regardless of age and skill level.
Here's what it will look like.
In addition to the festival, the Annual Fall Fun Car Show and Swap Meet will be going on from 8AM - 11AM at the Four States Auto Museum 217 Laurel St. Also, kids can visit the Discovery Place from Noon until 2PM for some spooky fun Halloween themed activities and crafts. Cost is only $5 and kids 3 and under are free.
Other Activities Downtown
Hopkins Icehouse will be throwing a party with live music from Bo Phillips and a costume contest. Cost is $10 with proceeds to benefit the Randy Sams Outreach Shelter and Texarkana Animal League.
Zapata's will be having a Halloween Party with Texarkana's Jawbone hosted by Women for the Arts benefiting TRAHC. Limited tickets available by calling 903-792-8681.
