Texarkana Health and Wellness Fair Coming Your Way in May

Start planning to attend the Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, May 7, at the Southwest Center at 3222 West 7th Street.

The City of Texarkana, Texas Bowie County Family Health Clinic will host this free event from 10 AM to 2 PM. This event is designed to help connect the community with valuable healthcare resources by offering access to various local and regional vendors.

Health Screenings Available

• Free Blood Pressure Checks
• Free Glucose Checks

A blood donation drive will also be held for those interested in giving back and supporting those in need.

Kelly Brush, Health Department Manager, is excited for another year of meeting residents and providing access to valuable health resources.

“The Health and Wellness Fair is an excellent opportunity for community members to explore resources that promote healthier lifestyles and gain access to important health screenings,” said Brush

Individuals and families of all ages are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the services offered at no cost.

Meanwhile, local and regional vendors who would like to participate in this event are encouraged to reserve a booth as soon as possible. There will be no fee to reserve booth space all that is asked is to bring a door prize gift for the raffle.
