Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council will present the Annual Student Juried Exhibition starting May 20 at the Regional Arts Center in Downtown Texarkana.

The Student Juried Exhibition has been a part of TRAHC's regional art shows for nearly 25 years and features art from elementary, middle, and high school students in the Four States Area.

The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council is pleased to invite teacher's students to participate in the 25th Annual Juried Student Exhibition competition. Elaine and Ken Cowling are sponsors for this year’s event.

This exhibition competition is FREE and open to all K – 12th grade students within the Four States Area. Elementary, Middle and High school entries will be judged in three separate categories, and works selected will be showcased at the Regional Arts Center May 20, 2017 ‐ June 24, 2017.

The deadline for submissions is May 6, 2017 at 3:45 p.m. Teachers should deliver artwork to the Regional Arts Center on or before that date. Below under "Downloads" you will find information on submission guidelines, entry criteria, school registration forms, school artwork inventories, and artwork label forms.

The opening reception is Saturday, May 20 from 11:00 a.m. ‐ 12:00 p.m. at the Regional Arts Center. Award winners will be announced at 11:45 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to Middle and High school students who receive top honors for their work.

There will also be two Honorable Mention Awards, two Merit Awards, and a People’s Choice Award for each category. People’s Choice award voting will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Saturday, May 20. In addition, one exhibiting student from each category will be randomly selected to win an art supply gift bag.
