Updated: Trick or Treat Events For The Kids This Halloween

Halloween is almost here! Trick or Treaters are looking for something fun and spooky to do especially if candy is involved, and do it safely. Here are a few events going on in the Texarkana area from Trick or Treating and Drive-thru Trunk or Treating events to Fall Festivals and Haunted Trails or Houses.

Trunk or Treat Drive-Thrus:

Thursday, October 29 it's the Sweet Treat Big Adventure Drive-Thru at the First Baptist Chuch at 3015 Moores Lane from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. It's a COVID-friendly Fall Fest with free hotdogs, prizes and candy. There will be two lines that will help with traffic. Cars can enter on Moores Lane or Galleria Oaks. Costumes encouraged.

Saturday, October 31 The City of Texarkana, Texas Parks & Police Departments will be hosting a Drive-thru Trunk or Treat this year at Spring Lake Park, located at 4303 N Park Road in  Texarkana, Texas from 4PM-6PM

Saturday, October 31 Halloween The Fall Fest on East Broad Street. A portion of the street will be shut down from 3PM until 6PM for the trick or treating. 'Candy Stations' set up on the sidewalks in a two-block area of Broad Street. Then at Crossties at 324 East Broad Street There will also be games and other activities for the entire family including a pumpkin decorating contest. At 6:30 the movie Hotel Transylvania will be shown.

Saturday, October 31 -  The Mighty 8th is coming together with Texarkana’s own Capital Burger for The Boo Bagger Bash!! A fun twist on the traditional trunk or treat. at the parking lot of Capital Burger at 5309 N. Stateline to trick or treat amongst the motorcycles and play some fun games. It all starts at 6pm

Haunted Trails:

The Haunted Trails in Leary will be open Thursday, October 29, Friday, October 30 and of course on Halloween night Saturday, October 31. at 7:15pm each night  Located at 298 Barkman Creek (FM1398) in Leary, Texas. $5 fee.
