With Halloween on the way this weekend I wanted to see what the most popular scary move was for our area and the results may surprise you.

With the Halloween weekend upon us, we are making plans to either scare some people or get scared ourselves. But what movie do you watch to get your scare on? For me, it is the classic 'Halloween' movie the original of course. The scary music itself is enough to get the hair on the back of my neck standing on end.

But what movie do people in our area want to watch for Halloween? Well for the Texas folks nothing scares them more than the classic 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' this film from 1974 is guaranteed to send chills up your spine. Here is what IMDB has to say about the classic film:

Now for Arkansas, the movie is something I had to look up and I could not believe the answer. The most popular movie is the 1933 classic, "King Kong" yes you read that right. This is what the classic movie is all about from IMDB.

A film crew goes to a tropical island for an exotic location shoot and discovers a colossal ape who takes a shine to their female blonde star. He is then captured and brought back to New York City for public exhibition.
