4 Local Fundraisers in Texarkana You Do Not Want to Miss

There are four big benefit fundraisers coming up in Texarkana that will be offering great food and fall fun.

October 21

First up the United Methodist Men will be sponsoring its annual Fish Fry to benefit the Curtis Cornett Scholarship Fund on Saturday, October 21, at Christ Church located at 5204 South Rondo Road from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

This has been a Texarkana favorite for years as the United Methodist Men will be cooking up some delicious fried fish with all the trimmings, drink, and a tasty dessert included. Adults are $13, Children 5-12 years old $5, and children under 4 eat FREE. Take-out food is also available to go.

October 27

Central Christian Church Community Spaghetti Dinner is on Friday, October 27, 2023, from  4:30 PM to 6:30 PM., at 903 Walnut, Texarkana.  Tickets for the dinner are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12.  Carry-outs are also available The Meal includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a drink (drink with dine-in only). October 24

A 'Twisted' Fall Bash Fundraiser for Running WJ Ranch will be celebrating 22 years of ministry on Tuesday, October 24, at Twisted Fork Restaurant. Come dressed casually there will be live entertainment Lew Russ, Guitarist, and Richard Walker, Saxophone. There will also be a silent auction and a cash bar. November 18

There will be a fall festival at Spring Lake Park on Saturday, November 18, to benefit Running WJ Ranch to help provide services to children in need. The festival starts at 2 PM and there will be food vendors, games, face painting, a raffle, and a silent auction. The event is being hosted by Running WJ Ranch and Madison McCarty a master's student from the University of Texas at Arlington.
