Annie G

Anne’s just a little familiar with radio. Ten years on the air in San Francisco, ten in Los Angeles, eight in Nashville. There’s more to the story (TV, voiceover work, co-writing specials for labels, artist interviews) but what matters most is that she delivers the details on New Music Nashville and has since the show’s start.

One memorable interview moment, says Annie G., is when Keith Urban told her he liked her hair. She added “yes, ladies, he really is a very nice guy”.

Jim Weaver

Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Dallas) I was born! My mom and I moved to Houston when I was 12 years old and have called both cities my home ever since. I have been in the radio biz since the stone age, we actually played records back then. But along the broadcast journey I fell madly in love with the radio business and I’ve been doing it ever since! At one time or another I’ve done it all, mornings, middays, afternoons, network, traffic reporter, operations manager, program director, music director, you name it! But no matter what time-slot I’m working the most fun I have is doing my best to entertain you and hopefully make your day a little better

Now, it's not only a passion, it's a career -- and it's not just the listeners that are taking notice -- it's the country stars, too!
