I remember like it was yesterday my mother taking me and my brother when we were children downtown to the Four States Fair Parade. We always stopped  by Wellworth's for an ice cream cone. They served up some of the best ice cream cones around at the time. After we got our bellies full of the tasty treat we would stand by the curb and watch the parade. In the past, whenever I would be in the Kicker truck and pass by there I could see my mom waving and remember such an unforgettable moment in my life. Now the parade has taken on a new route and turns onto Front Street just before passing by Wellworth's. This year marks the 70th Annual Four States Fair & Rodeo Parade and it's set to get underway at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 13. It's hard to believe that this parade is 70 years-old this year. So wave big, scream and holler when the Kicker truck passes you by this Saturday morning. Lisa and myself we'll be looking for you because everyone young and old loves a parade!

Check out this video I found on YouTube of the 69th Annual Parade thanks to Robert Burnette.
