American Idol’s Lauren Alaina Gets Ready For Finale

And then there were two...American Idol airs tonight on FOX for the final showdown between Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery. Both Alaina and Scotty McCreery bring their country roots and down home charm to American Idol viewers one more time.USA Today is reporting that tonight's performance finale will have Lauren and Scotty singing three songs apiece chosen from their favorite idols Carrie Underwood and George Strait.

In other idol news, both contestants will get to sing one of their favorite songs of the season as well as premier their new debut singles to America. Both singles will be available on iTunes following tonight's show. Taste of Country learned of the new singles yesterday from a source at Universal Music Group.

Look for the American Idol Tour to start rolling across the USA in July.
