The list, from New Jersey based Mars Chocolate and compiled by research expert, Bert Sperling, uses a scale that takes into account the number of home-improvement stores, steak houses and "manly" occupations per capita. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The rest of the top five are:

• Columbia, SC
• Memphis, TN
• Nashville, TN
• Birmingham, AL

Other cities of note; Houston is 6th while Dallas comes in at #15.

The major California Cities come in at the bottom of the list (Los Angeles #46, Oakland #48, San Francisco #49 and San Diego #50).
