Arkansas Civil War Battlefields’ is Topic of Presentation Nov.19

Peggy Lloyd, president of the Steering Committee for the Scenic By-Way of Arkansas Civil War Red River Campaign, will present a program on “Arkansas Civil War Battlefields” Saturday, Nov. 19, at 1PM in University Center 251 on the Texas A&M University-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave.

Lloyd will present information on the Arkansas Civil War Heritage Trail, which is a network of regional private, nonprofit, volunteer organizations seeking to identify, protect and promote Arkansas properties related to the state’s Civil War experience.

The program is free and open to the public.
