Last we heard, Warner Bros. hadn’t yet officially given the Wonder Woman solo film the green light, which wasn’t entirely surprising given that a script wasn’t firmly in place. But today brings good news on the Wonder Woman front: shooting will begin this fall for the hero’s upcoming solo adventure, with — as previously confirmed — Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad vet Michelle MacLaren in the director’s chair.

There are lots of ways to express your dedication to a particular film or character: you can write about it, you can post GIFs on Tumblr, you can get a tattoo or wear officially licensed merchandise, or you can get really into cosplay. Netflix Wants to Introduce 20 New Original Series Each Year, as if You Need More Choices
Let’s be honest here: you probably spend more time browsing your options on Netflix Instant than you do actually watching anything. And now to add to your ongoing decision-making dilemma, Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos has announced that the service plans to start launching 20 (twenty!) new original series a year. ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Wants Michael Keaton to Keep Tom Hiddleston Company
Casting for Legendary’s ‘Kong: Skull Island’ (previously titled ‘Skull Island’) has been a little slow-going. For several months, the only actor confirmed for the upcoming prequel was Tom Hiddleston, followed recently by J.K. Simmons. Spider-Man Would Be Recast if Marvel Regained Control of the Character
A couple of days ago some e-mails pertaining to the future of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise were revealed from the massive Sony hack. Those e-mails confirmed that Sony had indeed been discussing a potential Spider-Man crossover into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the character making his debut in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ Although the e-mails indicated that those talks between Sony and Marvel fell through, a new report has shed some light on what Marvel Studios would do with the character if they ever get him back.
