I love my job because it is so much fun. I always have something to say. I like to give advice to people and enjoy finding relationship & self-improvement stories to share with folks. I prefer to look at the bright side. I also believe that community service is a great gift that should be given by everyone and especially anyone willing to give of their time. I'm a huge dog lover and German Shepherds are my favorite. I visit our local animal shelter often and take photos for blogs to help find homes for the homeless pets. If you have lost a pet I can put a photo and description on our website with your contact information. Just send me an email! Please remember to spay and neuter your pets and, super important, get them microchipped.

Provide a Pet a Pad for Sarge at the Shelter
This week's featured pet is an adult shepherd mix from the shelter. He is already neutered, which means the adoption fee is less than $60. Sarge is good on a leash and loves affection. He is a great guard dog and no one will arrive at your home without him letting you know that you have company. His bark is scary but he is a sweetheart.

What is That Awful Smell in Texarkana?
What is causing the horrible smell in Texarkana? Tell us below what you think is causing it. To me, it smells like a cattle truck parked next to the radio station. Someone said it was a plant in Fulton that gets chicken parts from Tyson and cooks them, then dries it out for chicken feed. There is something a little unsettling about chickens eating chickens. Do you know what the smell is?
