Blood Drive at Texas High May 31
LifeShare Blood Centers will be having a blood drive at Texas High School Friday, May 31 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in Tiger Center (Gym). The goal is to gather up 56 + units of blood which is much needed during the upcoming summer season. Each year, 4.5 million fellow Americans come within inches of their lives due to unforeseen medical emergencies. The single most important factor of their survival is the availability of blood at their time of immediate need.
The goal can only be accomplished by asking the community to join in by rolling up our sleeves and donating blood. The blood collected will stay in the community so you can easily be saving a friend, next door neighbor or even possibly your own life!
LifeShare Blood Centers is the sole provider of blood products to your area hospital.
Here’s some basic information on donating blood.
*16 year olds can now donate with parental consent (they must meet eligibility requirements)
*ID is required (must have first & last name with picture)
*There is no age cap
