Arvest Bank recently had their annual "We Love Teachers" campaign in the Ashdown School District and several teachers were recognized for their hard work, dedication, to their students and the schools for which they work for.

With Veterans’ Day 2020 approaching next week, Texarkana College wants to say “Thank You” for the service and dedication shown to our country by hosting a special enrollment event for Veterans and their dependents.

Homecoming activities for Ashdown High School have been modified until Friday, November 6, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas is pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 Arkansas Grown School Garden Contest. Happy to announce that a Texarkana, Arkansas Elementary School was one of several winners across the state.

Southern Arkansas University will celebrate its 2020 homecoming October 19-24, but it will look a bit different than years past.  The University has tagged this year’s festivities “Not Your Average Homecoming” because of the need to celebrate within the current COVID boundaries.

The search just got serious for the next Chancellor of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana as a committee has been formed to find a candidate to fill the position.
