Texas Governor Waives STAAR Testing Requirements For 2019-2020 School Year
AUSTIN - Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he has waived the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) testing requirements for the 2019-2020 school year. Additionally, Governor Abbott is requesting that the Department of Education (DOE) waive federal testing requirements for the 2019-2020 school year.

The event will take place from 6PM until 8PM in University Center room 326. The program is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.

This event will take place in Eagle Hall inside the University Center building from 10AM until 2PM. Like all PLACE events, the 2020 TAMUT Wellness Fair is free and open to the public.
