Texarkana Animal League is hosting its annual Unleashed Party to distribute their 2015 day planners as well as raise funds for their many programs to help our local homeless animals.

This brother and sister duo is in need of a home today. They have the beautiful eyes and the jet black coat making them absolutely gorgeous! These two are some of the most friendly and active kittens available for adoption. As you watch the video, you may soon see that it would be bad luck not to adopt these comedians!

Little Paws Rescue is holding an adoption event at Petsmart in Texarkana on Saturday. They will have many different dog breeds available for adoption with approved application. See photos of some of the dogs below.

Enjoy lunch on Tuesday at a local Mexican food restaurant to help a local dog rescue out and also see the dogs that are available for adoption.

Sundance has been at the pound since January! He is a bit shy and hangs in the back of the cage so he is very easy to miss. He deserves a chance and is a truly a very sweet dog.

On Sunday there is a very enjoyable event set up for the blessing of your beloved pets. I have attended a pet blessing before and it was amazing! Church affiliation does not matter.

Volunteers from the Poodle Patch will be at Petsmart on Saturday between 11AM and 3PM with dogs available for adoption. All sizes of poodles and poodle mixes.

Find your PURfect pet during the pet adoption event at Petsmart on Saturday. Check out all of the dogs available for adoption through the local rescue groups attending the adoption event on Saturday at Petsmart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

St. Edward is an American Short Hair kitten who currently resides at the animal shelter. He is playful and fun-loving. You will notice what appears to be an "M" on his head. This supposedly means he is a good mouse catcher. The shelter's cat adoption fees range begin at $20.

Can you believe these two are still at the pound?! They are still as friendly and docile as ever. Hopefully they find their forever home soon: Terra and Liesel deserve great homes. To help find their forever homes, both these girls have been sponsored so that their adoption fee is only $40 each!

Come the pet adoption event at Petsmart on Saturday and visit with the volunteers from Texarkana Animal League, Passion for Pooches Rescue, Little Paws Rescue and Boxer Rescue of Texarkana. Each rescue will have a variety of dogs and cats available for adoption.
