Jan Frantz is a fan of NASCAR, and even more of a fan of Jeff Gordon.   So winning the Ultimate NASCAR Weekend is HUGE! Jan has some great advice on how to win big in the VIP Club, and we want to share it with all of our Kicker listeners.

Not only are we super excited about the night racing scheduled for Texas Motor Speedway this Friday April 13th, and Saturday April 14th, but there's a huge list of events around DFW all week, leading up to the main event with the Samsung Mobile 500 racing under the lights.

The craziest part of the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 were the last few laps, and at the end, it was Ryan Newman taking home the Grandfather Clock Trophy.  This was Ryan’s first victory of the season, his first at Martinsville, and the 16th of his career.  This is the third win for Stewart-Haas Racing this year.

It’s time for the biggest sporting event in the State of Texas! NASCAR thunders into Texas Motor Speedway for some ‘No Limits’ racing April 13th and 14th UNDER THE LIGHTS, and we want you to win the Ultimate NASCAR Weekend at Texas Motor Speedway with race tickets, VIP pit-passes, and deluxe hotel accommodations at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott DFW North Irving.

It's a huge letdown for the fans whenever a race is shortened by rain, and that’s exactly what happened at Auto Club Speedway in California.  Shortened by 71 laps, it was Tony Stewart claiming his second NASCAR win for 2012.

In a re-start with only 4 laps to the checkered flag, it was Tony Stewart beating out Jimmie Johnson for the win Sunday in the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This is Stewart’s first victory at the track, and he won in grand fashion having the most dominant car of the day.

At the track that took his hopes for a Championship in 2010, Denny Hamlin tasted sweet victory in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 Sunday at Pheonix International Raceway.  In only his second race with 2011 Championship crew-chief Darian Grubb, Hamlin held off Kevin Harvick for the last 53 laps to win the race, and claim the top spot in points.

Congratulations to Matt Kenseth on his second Daytona 500 Championship, and what has to be one of the most bizarre races in recent history.  Asphalt problems earlier in the week, rain delays… Juan Pablo Montoya crashing into a track jet-dryer truck.

Things are definitely getting hotter on the NASCAR track, and Danica Patrick has some new competition.  Her name is Maryeve Dufault.  Maryeve is moving up from the ARCA series, and is a former “Price Is Right” model.

What a race it was in Homestead Florida for the Sprint Cup Championship?  Plagued by weather issues, with multiple caution flags, and a red flag for rain, it was between Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards to battle it out for the Cup.

We are so fired up for the 21st Annual Demolition Derby at the 67th Annual Four States Fair & Rodeo Saturday September 17th. The smashing, the crashing, the roaring motors, and the fire...YEAH!!! The little kids LOVE it, and us big kids do too!

Country Music fans and Race cars fans are some of the most loyal fans in the country. So it's no surprise to see these two organizations get together for the upcoming Brickyard 400 on July 31st.
