Charlie Daniels always goes all out for his Volunteer Jam, and the 2018 installment will be no exception.

Daniels has announced details of the upcoming show, Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie, including a portion of the all-star lineup. The country legend is known for blending genres and bringing a variety of music acts to Nashville to participate in the iconic event, and the 2018 lineup includes the Charlie Daniels Band, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Chris Janson and the Oak Ridge Boys, in addition to Blackberry Smoke, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and former Allman Brothers Band member Chuck Leavell.

Revered songwriter Bobby Bare, Justin Moore, Ricky Skaggs and Eddie Montgomery round out the first batch of performers, with more to be announced.

The 2018 show is produced by Blackbird Presents, with CEO Keith Wortman adding a new element to the show in a form of a tribute to Daniels. Each of the artists will perform songs in honor of the show's host, as well as their own hits.

“It’s about the only time of year we do a major performance in Nashville. This is where it started 43 years ago,"  Daniels says of the event, which has taken some years off and takes place for the 20th time in 2018 (quote via the Tennessean). "It was supposed to be a one-time deal, but it took on a life of its own. We knew by the reaction of the crowd, we had to do it again. It’s a very special show and a very special evening,"

Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie takes over Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on March 7. Tickets go on sale Friday (Dec. 8), with a portion of sales going to the Journey Home Project, a nonprofit Daniels has been an avid supporter of that provides aid to veterans returning from war.
