Country Stars Reaction to Connecticut Shooting [VIDEO]

Like many Americans I’m still in shock about what transpired this past Friday (12/14), after a deadly shooting that occured at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Newtown, Connecticut. 20-year-old Adam Lanza, went on a shooting spree killing 27 people including 20 children – before taking his own life. His mother was also a victim. Country artists took to Twitter, to react to the tragic event.

 

Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13): “I’m heartsick about the senseless tragedy in CT and praying for the families of the children and teachers who lost their lives. Unthinkable.”

Lady Antebellum (@ladyantebellum): “Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and everyone affected in Connecticut. #newtown.”

Blake Shelton (@BlakeShelton): “Stand strong and stand united everyone… We are Americans and we are better than this. What a sad sad disgusting day this is…”
