Need a haircut? Well, a Cut-A-Thon to raise money for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children will be held on April 25 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and April 26 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Texarkana College Cosmetology, located at 1401 Richmond Road.This will be a nationwide Cut-A-Thon with all proceeds from hair, skin, and nails donated to the center. There will be local vendors from the community selling merchandise, a silent auction, bounce houses, the Army will have there rock climbing wall set up too. In addition, there will live music, cake walk and other fun and games provided.

With more than 2,000 children reported missing each day, a major focus of the Center is the recovery of missing  children. Since its establishment in 1984, the NCMEC has assisted law enforcement in the recovery of more than 183,000 children.
