End of an Era – ‘Center Stage at Annette’s’ To Close Its Doors
After more than 24 years of supplying Texarkana and Ark-La-Tex dancers with dancewear and accessories, Annette’s at Center Stage is going out of business.
Dance has been in Ms. Annette’s heart most of her life. Having danced in ballet, tap and jazz since the age of four, Annette’s retail business (located at 421 Texas Blvd.) was her way of continuing her involvement in dance and our community. A longtime member of the Texarkana Community Ballet and a former ballet and jazz dance instructor at Texarkana College, dance was her first love.
It’s sad that the last exclusive dancewear store in Texarkana is closing, but for all of the dancers, the silver lining is that Ms. Annette is offering all her remaining merchandise at 50 percent off. She has timed this final sale to be able to help the dancers one more time as they get ready for “Back to Dance.”
Speaking for myself, and I am sure many more “dance parents,” I would like to say thank you Ms. Annette. You have been a big part of many wonderful memories for hundreds, if not thousands, of kids.
Stop by the store one last time to say goodbye to Ms. Annette or give her a call at (903) 793-1181.
