‘Girl in a Country Song’ Video Objective or Not? [VIDEO]

Republic Nashville

There seems to be a lot of what they call “bro country” on the radio these days. Well, the Oklahoma/Texas duo Maddie & Tae have just released a video that pokes fun at the whole “bro country” thang. The song basically flips the script by showing guys being objects of affection instead of girls but it’s done in a humorous way. I’m still trying to figure out the message because there are some pretty hot chicks wearing daisy duke cutoffs and cowboy boots. Not that I’m complaining!

See the video.

But the video ALSO features plenty of hot chicks in skimpy clothes. Doesn’t that deflate the whole message of the song?
