Cookies!! Who doesn’t love cookies!! They’ve been around for a long time!!! Historians say they go back to they 7th century! The name ‘Cookie’ comes from the Dutch meaning ‘little cakes’.

Dutch bakers would use a small amount of cake batter to test the ovens temperature. If you live in England or Australia you call cookies ‘Biscuits’!

What is your favorite cookie? My favorite? Homemade or bought Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies! Yum! I just can’t turn those down! Here’s a recipe that looks good, but might skip the nuts.
