Jake Owen Raps on New “Summer Jam” Tune to be Released on EP [VIDEO/POLL]

Brantley Gilbert's done it, Jason Aldean's done it, we know Colt Ford can do it, now it's Jake Owen's turn to do a little rap.Seems to be the newest trend in country music these days is to do a little rap and sing a little. Jake Owen recently revealed to his fan club that he plans to release an EP this summer. This time last year he had a fun little summer song called "Barefoot & Blue Jean Night."  Jake says he wanted to do something else "summery" and the kind of music you can "put on your boat and crank it up."

The tune is called "Summer Jam" and he performs with a new country duo Florida Line. The EP plans to be released through the digital media via iTunes. No release date for the song has been announced yet.
