Found an article on ArkansasSports360 this morning with comments that Jeff Long, Arkansas' Athletic Director, made regarding Coach Pel and the UA Mens Basketball Team.

One of the questions posed to him was, how he would respond to a fan that asked: “How could Jeff Long let the basketball program continue to stay where it is.” I liked his response:

Well, I don’t know what they want me to do. My point guard skills aren’t very good any more. At one point I could shoot the ‘3’, though. No, seriously, we have a high level of expectations of success for our program. There’s no question about that. John Pelphrey has a high level of expectation for his program. There’s no question about that. We just have to play the season out, look at evaluate and see where we are at the end of the season.

Bottom line, let the season play out and see what happens. I think the Hogs are about to make some noise in the west. If guys like Sanchez continue to step up and help keep some of the pressure off of Clarke, this team could still go on a nice run here to end the season.
