First, I am a big fan of Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and Jello shots. Thinking that there may be others just like me, I wanted to share a couple of recipes. Mainly this one for Pineapple Upside Down Cake Jello Shots.



What you will need:

  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 3-ounce box pineapple Jello gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup butterscotch schnapps
  • 1/4 cup Irish cream
  • Maraschino Cherries

In a large bowl, dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water. Measure and pour in the vodka, schnapps, Irish Cream, and cold water. (We recommend a taste test of each... call it quality control.) Stir well, and allow to cool. Add a Maraschino cherry to each plastic shot cup. Carefully pour your liquored up concoction over the cherries, and place in the refrigerator to chill and set. Enjoy responsibly!

Now, if you aren't patient enough to wait for Jello Shots, I saw this recipe on YouTube... some of the comments exclaim it "better than" Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
