John L. Smith on Verge of Bankruptcy

To me, this is a personal matter that shouldn't affect what the Hogs do on the football field, but its being reported this morning so thought I'd share it.

Apparently, Arkansas' interim head coach made a few bad land deals that went bust after the economy crashed and is not contemplating bankruptcy to try to "clean his plate".

Jeff Long says that Coach Smith was upfront with him about his finances during the interview process and, while he had some initial concerns, he ultimately decided this was a non-issue.
