Kicker 102.5 Presents ‘Taste of Country Christmas Tour” 2012

Kicker 102.5 is proud to present 'The 2012 Taste of Country Christmas Tour' ' featuring hot new country star Casey James and Texas artist JB and the Moonshine Band live in concert Saturday, Dec. 1 at Shooters.

Casey James,who hails from Cool, Texas was on the ninth season of the popular music competition show 'American Idol' and Casey made it to the top 3 before being voted off. Since that time Casey has been honing his skills as a writer, singer, and guitarist and has found his way into the hearts of country music fans. Maybe it's his movie star looks or just his down home Texas charm that's got all the ladies crazy about this rising star.

His first single was co-written with Lee Brice and Terry McBride "Let's Don't Call it a Night" which sold 5000 copies in it's debut week.  His self titled album Casey James came out a few months back and already has spawned another release called "Crying on a Suitcase" which shows off James acting ability in the new video. Casey sings with a lot heartfelt emotion in this album and he takes you on a journey with his soulful raspy voice. "Crying on a Suitcase" is James highest charted song thus far and he's just getting started.

JB and the Moonshine Band is no stranger to Texas country music fans, they been playing the honky tonk bars and festivals for several years and gaining new fans everywhere they go. The band hails from East Texas but are hoping to take their brand of country to new heights. Their first album was "Ain't Going Back to Jail" released in September 2010 and their debut single was "Perfect Girl" which turned out to be their fastest rising single. The single has gained over 1,090,000 YouTube views and has already sold over 50,000 paid single downloads on iTunes.

Their current album, "Beer For Breakfast" debuted at No. 4 on iTunes Country Albums day of its release, March 6th. The album debuted at No. 31 on Billboard's Country Chart, No. 31 on Billboard's Independent Albums and at No. 7 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart.

I understand the band is getting ready to release another new single soon and we'll keep you posted. JB and the Moonshine Band got their first big break opening a show with Colt Ford and that eventually got them noticed and landed them a record deal with Colt's record label Average Joe's Entertainment.
