Kicker 102.5 is getting ready for the Sparks in The Park (tomorrow) July 4th at the Four States Fairgrounds. There is a lot of details behind the scenes that go into making this event one of the best of the year. As a matter of fact, if you attend this year's Sparks you make walk off ready for the beach.We filled one of the station vans full of beach balls that we're going to be throwing out to the crowd during the live concerts. So make sure you bring the kids for a Beachin' good time! The weather should be very nice with the temps in the upper 80s and mid 60s for the evening.

Gates open to the general public at 4 p.m. Open ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m. on the outdoor Stateline Stage. The band Driven will kick off live music starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the headlining act The Dusty Rose Band at 8 p.m. The fireworks show presented by Stateline Fireworks starts at 9:30 p.m.

So far here is the schedule of events for opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. (subject to change)

6:00 Mayor Smith welcomes crowd-introduces other local dignitaries and color guard from Arkansas High.

6:10 Mayor Smith introduces Jemiah Cannon singing National Anthem

6:15 Townsquare Media Radio DJ's thank sponsors and announces activities for rest of evening

6:30 Kicker 102.5 introduces the band Driven to the Stateline Fireworks stage.

7:45 Winners of Patriotic costume, strollers and rollers contest announced by Kicker crew.

8:00 Kicker 102.5 introduces The Dusty Rose Band to the Stateline Fireworks stage.

9:30 p.m. Our sister station Power 95.9 introduces the Fireworks show presented by Stateline Fireworks.

Admission AND parking are free, so there’s nothing stopping you from coming on out!

No alcohol, personal coolers, barbecue grills, pets or personal fireworks will be allowed.
