Texarkana Public Library Introduces Three Programs To Benefit The Community
As a former library employee in Cincinnati, I can’t express enough the value of learning to read and go to your local library.
The Texarkana Public Library, located on 600 W. 3rd St. in Texarkana, Texas, will host three events for the public.
If you like to knit, or are even new to it, join the knitting circle at the David Nelson Meeting Room on the third Monday of each month between 3 – 5 p.m. Circle dates are Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16.
If crocheting is more your thing, bring your latest project to the crochet circle and receive great tips on how to make practically anything while you enjoy good conversation at the same time. The crochet circle meets on the first Monday of each month between 3 – 5 p.m. in the David Nelson Meeting Room. Circle dates are Oct. 7, Nov. 4 and Dec. 2.
If you are a parent who has children ranging between infants to school age, we invite you to attend story time on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. in the Children’s Room. Kids will love the stories that are shared because they will engage the children and teach them to love reading.
