Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup [VIDEO]

Father's Day weekend is here and what better way to spend the day, and take dear ol' dad to see a movie. There's a couple of great movies to pick from this weekend depending on his preference.The biggest this weekend is another superhero movie "Green Lantern" (PG-13) starring Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern. The Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him the power to fight off intergalactic enemies in the universe that are set to destroy the balance of the universe and earth. The Green Lantern becomes the first human to be recruited to fight back.

The other movie brings back funny man Jim Carrey as Mr. Popper, a businessman who works so much he's forgotten the important things in life. But things are about to change when he inherits six penguins. The penguins turn his fancy New York apartment into a winter wonderland and the rest of his life upside down.

I've always been a fan of Jim Carrey and as much as I enjoy the superhero movies, I think I will give it break this weekend and go for some fun and comedy "Mr. Popper's Penguins" (PG) my selection this weekend. Hint Hint Hint...
