Today marks the 42nd anniversary of when man first walked on the moon.
Just imagine yourself back in 1969 and being glued to the T.V. watching Neil Armstrong and hearing him say "One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind."

For those old enough to remember it must have been an amazing sight, and it still is. I was too young to remember the event, but years later I remember finding newspaper clippings of the event my parents had saved.

It's amazing to think how far we've come in technology since 1969. Plastics, home computers, cell phones, satellite T.V. just to name a few. So many products and advances in technology have come from space exploration.

As I write this, I can't help but think of the irony of it all as I just heard our last space shuttle Atlantis is heading home.
Do you remember when man first walked on the moon?
