The time is almost here if you are an Arkansas Razorback fan! The countdown has begun to officially kick off the 2013 University of Arkansas football season with new head coach Bret Bielema. Saturday the hogs will take on Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns at 3 p.m. (FSN) at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Ragin' Cajuns return seven starters on each side of the ball, including quarterback Terrence Broadway, who set a school total offense record a year ago. The hogs defense will certainly get a test coming out of the gate. The Ragin' Cajuns have gone 18-8 the past two seasons and have won two straight New Orleans Bowls out of the Sun Belt conference.

Meanwhile, the Razorback football team is ready to make the naysayers and non-believers, believers. From everything I've read and heard this team has a bit of a chip on their shoulder and is ready to prove everyone wrong for picking them to finish last in their conference.

Still, a lot of answers remain like, Will Brandon Allen live up to be the QB everyone thinks he can be? He had a terrific spring and fall camp but now it's time to take all that he's learned and transform it to the field with the new smash-mouth offense. The defense grew leaps and bounds toward the end of last season and with the addition of the new coaches and new scheme this should be, a coming out party for the D.

Senior captain Kiero Small said it best "the the Razorbacks are like boiling water."

Whatever the outcome of Saturday's game, be patient cause good things are coming. Go Hogs!

Here's that video that fans have been talking about "Never Yield" by Triple Threat. If this don't get you fired up for the game nothing will.
