Should Retail Stores be Prohibited From Opening on Thanksgiving? [POLL]
A lawmaker in Missouri is about to introduce a bill dubbed the "Thanksgiving Family Protection Act" which would prohibit retail stores from opening on Thanksgiving in that state. The bill would exclude gas stations, restaurants and drug stores.
The lawmaker, House member Jeff Roorda of Barnhart, MO, says Thanksgiving should be about families and not profit or greed.
