With the falling temperatures expected by Monday and lows in the teens and single digits by Tuesday morning in most of Arkansas that can make for some pretty amazing ice sculptures such as a waterfall.

Arkansas is home to more than 200 year-round waterfalls from towering horsetail waterfalls to sparkling flowing cascades. During the winter months of sub-freezing temperatures, some of these waterfalls freeze over and are a sight to see. No pun intended, but these remarkable waterfalls you could say are frozen in time for at least a moment.

YouTuber Trove1 took the backwoods of the rugged forest of Arkansas in 2021 and hiked several trails to discover some of the best waterfalls in the natural state. Seeing a waterfall is always a thing of beauty but seeing one up close frozen is mesmerizing, to say the least.

So if you are looking for an unforgettable experience seeing any of these popular waterfalls in Arkansas is something you will never forget. Mother Nature is quite the artist! The only thing missing is Olaf from the movie "Frozen" but I'm sure if you look hard enough I bet you can find him.

Warning: If you decide to hike the mountains during this time of year be advised that rocks can be very slick and dangerous. Make sure you are properly prepared with the proper hiking boots, outerwear, and an emergency kit for safety measures. Other than that enjoy the show!

Arkansas is called the Natural State for a reason and this is why.
