Three new movies are on the big screen this weekend -- a crime/drama, drama/thriller, and a sci-fi movie.

Three new movies hit the theaters this weekend and one is a George Lucas' (Star Wars) animated musical, comedy, fantasy movie "Strange Magic." Johnny Depp is back in a whimsical comedy, action, adventure "Mortdecai" about a shady art dealer and a British aristocrat. There are several new movies in theaters this weekend worth checking out.

Nothing like starting out the new year scary! Meaning that the first movie release of 2015 is a sequel about the Eel Marsh House set back in the wore torn WWII era "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death." This drama/horror flick is about some children who have to be evacuated from London during wartime only to arrive at the house to awaken to some not so friendly dark spirits.
