Country newcomer Jordan Rager recently visited St. Jude Research Hospital, and before he got there, he was expecting a day of heartbreaking stories followed by a few manly tears running from his eyes. But the opposite was true.

Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon is today and tomorrow March 3-4, 2016. The staff looks forward to these two important days out of the year where you can make a huge difference in helping cure a child with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Justin Moore is no stranger to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and each time he goes and spends time with young patients, he keeps the thoughts of his own three daughters in the back of his mind.

Fans not used to seeing the "Watered Down" singer get emotional will be at a loss for words.

Radio programmers, on air personalities and other members of the media from around the country congregated in Memphis, Tenn., last weekend for the 2016 Country Cares for St. Jude radio seminar. It's an annual event to show radio stations the latest research, technology and information that can be used during each annual radiothon to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Gathering of Authors is happening this Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center from 10 am - 4 pm. One of those authors is John T. Wayne, grandson of famous actor John Wayne.

Pizza Hut will soon hold its fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. How awesome is that? The fundraiser will be next Monday March 30.

Congratulations to Joanne Pridgen our St. Jude Grand Prize winner! Joanna and her kids stopped by the Kicker studios to pick up the "Triple Play Concert Package," which included the collector's edition Dr Pepper autographed guitar.

Well, it's a story that I would not want to share publicly, but on the air we said if we got a $1,000 donation for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, I would tell this story on the radio and video it. Then, we got two $1,000 donations!

Texarkana and the surrounding area is full of good people. Listeners called in to make donations to our "Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon" and raised $88,620 to help save the lives of children with Cancer.

This is one of the most touching St. Jude stories we've ever heard. A 12-year-old boy in Pittsfield, Mass. donated $11 — which was all the money he had in the world — to help the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
