Have you ever seen a K9 unit in action? These dogs are amazing to see and we have the chance to see K9 units from all over the United States compete against each other right here in Texarkana.

Both the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department and the Texarkana Texas Police Department are hosting the Region 20 United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) trials right here in Texarkana.

The trials take place all week long with more than 25 K9 teams competing. The great thing is there is and event that is open to the public and it's free.

Tuesday, April 23 at 8 AM taking place at Four States Fairgrounds it's Criminal Apprehension. You will get to watch these K9s as they apprehend as (fake) fleeing suspect, hold a suspect and release on command. Plus you will see as they recall and protect their handler.
