Texarkana Texas Elk Lodge to Hold Inaugural Drawdown Fundraiser May 13

Would you like to help a great cause in Texarkana and have a chance to take home five thousand dollars.  If so, make plans to be at the Texarkana, Texas Elks Lodge Inaugural Drawdown benefit fundraiser on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Please come out for an evening of entertainment starting with the band Dog and Weed performing during supper provided by The Lunchbox at 6PM. Then at 7PM the drawdown will begin with Roger Shepard serving as the master of ceremonies. In addition, there will be a silent auction, cash bar and complimentary beer. General admission tickets are $25 but does not include the draw-down.  $100 tickets admit two and includes the $5000 drawdown.

This event will benefit the Veterans and special needs children in our community and across the state of Texas. "Money raised helps purchase things such as hearing aids, wheelchairs, prosthetic equipment," said, Michelle Walraven the event coordinator.
