If you grew up in the south chances are you listened to The Marshall Tucker Band. They were but only a few bands that started the southern rock movement in the early 70s. Well, get ready because The Marshall Tucker Band will be performing in Hot Springs, Arkansas this Saturday night at Magic Springs.

The band is part of two shows that includes southern country rocker Travis Tritt. The Marshall Tucker Band is probably best known for their iconic hit, "Can't You See" that's been recorded by other artists through the years and featured in movies. The band from South Carolina originally formed in 1972 with lead vocalist Toy Caldwell who's voice you hear on numerous hits like "Can't You See," "Fire on the Mountain," "Searchin' for a Rainbow," just to name a few.

Unfortunately, several original band members passed away including drummer Tommy Caldwell, his brother lead vocalist Toy Caldwell in 1993 and rhythm guitarist George McCorkie in 2007, according to Wikipedia.

However, the remaining members along with some new members continue to live out the legacy of The Marshall Tucker Band all across the U.S.
