The 2016 Cattle Baron's Ball "Stateline Stampede" will be held Saturday, October 29, at the Texarkana Convention Center at Cowhorn Creek beginning at 7PM.

"Proceeds from this prestigious event will benefit the American Cancer Society going into its fourth year in Texarkana," said Crystal Phiffer Prince, Community Manager with the American Cancer Society.

This year, the Cattle Baron's Ball is chaired by Jeanna and Mike Rogers and Kim and Willis Johnston. This western-themed event will feature great food, a silent and live auction, midway type games, a chance drawing, and live entertainment from The Voice Top 4 Finalist Barrett Baber.

Coached by Blake Shelton in Season 9, Baber went on to land a record deal and according to Taste of Country, recently opened for Rascal Flatts. In fact, Blake Shelton says "Barrett sounds like no one else on country radio. He can be a superstar in country music."  By the way,  Baber won the national CBS Grammy Gig of a Lifetime in 2014.

An Arkansas native, Barrett’s inspiration for singing and creating music started with frequent visits to Memphis TN, only a few miles from his hometown in Marion, Ark. Beale Street and the corners of downtown Memphis were his first exposure to the street performers and artists steeped in Blues, R&B, Country and Rock. These real life experiences gave Baber the influences and inspiration that shines through his music today. From Sam Cooke to Levon Helm, you can hear the past blazing through his tone, all wrapped in a fresh style delivered by one of the southeast’s hottest artists.
