Walk MS Texarkana Raises $15,000! [VIDEO/PHOTOS]

More than a hundred walkers came out for Walk MS Texarkana at Bobby Ferguson Park on Saturday, April 7th, 2012.

The sponsored event brought awareness to this dreaded disease that effects young and old alike. Funds raised go toward the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Arkansas to help find a cure for MS.

Executive Assistant of Special Events Lindsey Wiley said their goal this year was to raise $7,500, but she was very happy that the total tally of funds raised exceeded that amount. This year's walk raised$15,000! I personally had the honor of handing out the awards for the teams that raised the most money and gave out the prizes donated by area businesses.
