9th Annual MLK Freedom Celebration Jan-14-15 in Camden
The African American Historical Commission of Camden will hold its 9th Annual MLK
Freedom Celebration on Jan 14-15, according to a press release.
This year, the event will feature a Day of Praise at Greater New Calvary COGIC in Camden. Ark., at 3:45PM on Jan. 14. This event will feature the first performance from the MLK Mass MaleChorus - men from the male choruses of Mt. Gillard, Pilgrim Rest, St. Paul, Hickory Ridge and more. Also performing during the event is author and gospel recording artist Jennifer Page, COGIC Jurisdiction Four Choir director Harold Wade Senior along with AAHCC Hall of Famers evangelist Sheila Torrence Staten and vocalist Laura Heard.
Also during the program, AAHCC will present the MLK AWARDS and inductions into their Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
