American Cancer Society ‘Relay For Life’ Set For Texarkana [VIDEO]

Texarkana is getting ready for the 2012 Relay For Life to benefit the American Cancer Society at the Four States Fairgrounds on Friday, June 8 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.Because it's relay you're not required to be there the entire time, but there will be plenty of activities to keep you busy and have fun at the same time. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities. This event started back in 1985 as a running marathon in Tacoma, Wash. by a doctor who wanted to enhance the income of his local American Cancer Society office and to show support for all of his patients who had battled cancer.
