This hasn't been a good year for brick-and-mortar stores across the U.S. The latest to bite the dust was Bed, Bath, and Beyond and now another retail chain in Texarkana is closing its doors for good nationwide.

It was announced yesterday that the Tuesday Morning a discount store will be closing. The store has been in Texarkana for several years and has other stores in the region that will also be closing.  A 30 percent off the lowest ticketed price going out of business sale has already begun and everything in the store must go.

If you have any gift cards or merchandise must be used or returned no later than May 13.

The store was popular for discounted items like bath and body works, home decor, baby gifts, furniture, bedding, seasonal items, and wall art.

Besides Texarkana, the other stores closing in the region are in Longview, Tyler, and Paris.

It's unfortunate that we are losing another store but with an unpredictable economy and more people moving to online purchasing, I'm afraid this won't be the last time we hear this happening here and across America.

Here are the complete Tuesday Morning stores closing in Texas.

Tuesday Morning has 200 stores nationwide and the first Tuesday Morning store opened in 1974.
