Atlanta Forest Festival Going on Now Through Saturday
One of the best festivals around our area is the Atlanta Forest Festival. It opened yesterday (Wednesday, May 31) and will go through this Saturday, June 3 at 606 S. Louise Street in Atlanta, Texas.
There will be fun for the whole family with lots of food, arts and crafts, live music and carnival rides too. You may remember the festival used to be in the fall months. It has officially moved to kick off the summer.
The schedule of events according to their Facebook page:
Thursday, June 1 - Open 5PM - 10PM. Atlanta Middle School Color Guard perform at 7PM. Heather Linn & the Deacons performs on stage at 7:15.
Friday, June 2 - Open 5PM - Midnight. Atlanta High School Color Guard perform at 6:30PM. Dixie Bent performs on stage at 7PM.
Saturday, June 3 - Forest Festival Parade Downtown Atlanta at 11AM. Festival Open 4PM - Midnight. Patsy Cline Show performs at 7PM. Waylon Jennings Show starts at 8:15PM.
There is a $5 parking fee to support local civic groups or park free and walk to gate
*Thursday - Saturday Adults $5 at gate. 12 and under $2.
*Infants and small toddlers get in free
*Carnival sells tokens and ride wrist-bands every night
