This is one of those things that I have always wanted to do and try to do it well, a garden with lots of home-grown vegetables. Well, here's my chance this Saturday in Maud.

The Maud Public Library is hosting a Beginning Garden class Saturday, March 24 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the library located at 335 Houston Dr. in Maud, Texas.

This is actually a continuation of the class that held on February 27, however, this one is going to focus on the actual planting and garden maintenance and harvest.

This will be a two hour class with refreshments provided. The good folks from Binning Farm of Maud will be teaching this class. According to their Facebook page;

grow the best food possible without the use of synthetic chemicals.We only grow heirloom varieties and we believe that good food in season is where your healthy lifestyle begins.

For more information see the event Facebook page.
