Enjoy The Grape Festival This Weekend in Arkansas
With summer vacations coming to an end, there are still some fun things to do for that last little weekend getaway as back to school looms over us all.
This weekend there is a fun festival in Arkansas that you do not want to miss. It's the Tontitown Grape Festival. It's been voted the best festival in Northwest Arkansas. This is the real deal, this little town is known for grapes and vineyards. The festival is from August 6 through Saturday the 10, so this weekend is the perfect time to check it out.

At the Tontitown Grape Festival, there will be a carnival, free live music every night, their famous delicious spaghetti dinners for purchase and a Run for the Grapes 5k walk/ run. There will also be tons of fun for the kids too.
What is the History of The Tontitown Grape Festival?
This is the Tontitown Grape Festival's 125th year. It has been going on for almost as long as the town, founded in 1896. The town began with 10 Italian families that grew their gardens and vineyards. The grape crop is so big, there is a Welsh company plant in nearby Springdale.
